The Canadian economy emerged out of recession in the third quarter driven by strong international demand for Canadian goods and services. PBO, a watchdog still leashed
The Parliamentary Budget Office (PBO) provides economic and budgetary analysis to Canada’s Parliament. On Nov. 10, it released its Economic and Fiscal Outlook and the forecast isn’t good: the first blow to the new Liberal government. It is uncertain whether such reports will again strain relations between the PBO and the government.
