The two urban cities in this story are Ahmedabad and Vadodara. Located a little closer to the centre of Gujarat state government, these cities are filled to the brim with people and are still expanding.

They are home to NGOs that focus on women’s empowerment and rights, including health care, and also have hundreds of hospitals. Women in these cities have their pick of health care providers and can choose to use a private or public hospital based on what they can afford.

While they face the same issue – a lack of sexual health education – if they have health complications there are many places to turn to for help.
