THE JUNCTION\/Brian Hill.<\/p><\/div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">After an unusually warm fall, the city woke up to a layer of snow\u00a0Tuesday morning \u2013 the first snowfall of the season.\u00a0Ontario\u00a0Provincial Police\u00a0took to Twitter to warn drivers to keep an eye out for\u00a0black ice and local police were tweeting\u00a0advice on how to stay safe on city roads.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Conditions are right for black ice, numerous collisions reported throughout the region. Chris Marano, another Carleton student, said he has yet to get his winter tires put on, but he isn&#8217;t worried. &#8220;There wasn&#8217;t too much traffic, believe it or not,&#8221; he said. <span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">According to CBC, there have been a number of collisions around the city.<\/span> <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" lang=\"en\"><p>COLLISION: Two vehicles between Hunt Club and Walkley.
