Shannon was born in Montreal, Quebec but raised in Oakville, Ontario. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto, and obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts following her studies in Architectural History, English, and Urban Studies. In addition to contributing to an established online music blog for more than three years, Shannon has pursued freelance writing for the international publication The GROUND as well as Canadian Architect magazine. She has a passion for architecture, and aspires to make connections between global issues and the built environment in her future writing endeavors
