This website is a project completed in partial fulfillment of the two-year Master of Journalism program at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada.
The stories and other information presented here are a result of research conducted by the author about the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) immigration stream from early winter 2011 until late April 2012. Eugene Kwibuka’s focus was on international students, a major portion of candidates who are targeted by the program.
The CEC was enacted in 2008 and the author explores how it has been working for students so far.
