“Sniff…,” goes Midweek.
That’s partly due to sadness…and partly due to the cold accompanying the massive snowstorm thumping down on Ottawa and just about all of the southern parts of Ontario and Quebec, as well as the central and northeastern U.S.
The sadness in the sniff is because, for the first time ever, we’re going to have to cancel an edition of the Midweek show on CKCU.
Carleton University, where we’re based, decided on Tuesday afternoon to take the precaution of closing the campus on Wednesday during what’s expected to be the height of the storm, and that means we can’t go to air. Sorry about that!
The week of Feb. 18-22 is Carleton’s break week, so we were already scheduled to be off the air that week — but we’ll be back on Feb. 27, so please tune in then!
In the meantime, why not take this opportunity to enjoy some past editions of Midweek…
