Carleton University’s current affairs show by journalism students returned to air this week.
Before the commencement of the hour and 30 minute show, the production team had a meeting at 9:30 a.m. to discuss the stories that would go on air.
The live show featured a story about Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visit to Canada and what it meant for Ukrainians living in the country. Next in the line-up was the impact of the ongoing tensions between Canada and India. There were also stories about trans-inclusive education in schools, singing sea shanties in Ottawa and misinformation.
The show went on with few glitches, and everyone on the production team agreed to do better for next week.
The hosts for the show were Jonah Grignon and Graham Digby.
Students received great feedback about the show from family members and friends who tuned in.
Overall, it was a good first Midweek radio show for the fall term!
