Our first live Midweek show of 2018 hit CKCU airwaves on Wednesday, Jan. 31. Hosted by Shauna McGinn and Mamta Manhas, the show took listeners from literacy and finance to the Women’s March, a gathering of pugs, and much more.
It may be the middle of winter, but a new season is just starting here at Midweek: A new crew of journalists have taken over the show, and had their first practice run at the helm on January 24, 2018, with hosts Naomi Librach and Kaitlin Fisher at the mics.
The final show of this fall’s Midweek season looked into struggles in the newspaper business, volunteers determined to help save LGBT refugees, others helping give survivors their own voice, and a college student who finally made the team — at 39! All that and more on Midweek!
