Time for Plan B here at Midweek: a strike by Carleton U’s support workers meant we couldn’t broadcast on CKCU-FM this week, so instead we used the radio equivalent of Lego and clicked together two (rather terrific) podcasts, made up of the usual Midweek mix of stories. Enjoy!

Ten women who came the Canada as refugees one or two years ago have launched a catering project. Baraka Syrian Home Cooking started in December and has since catered two sold-out events for about 60 people. Midweek’s Salma Mahgoub has the story.
