Midweek Alums create AZN Connection podcast
Say it as a ZEEE, not a ZED — now you get it! The AZN podcast was launched in November 2020 by three fresh graduates from Carleton University’s bachelor of journalism program as a way to explore what “being Asian” means in the modern world — and two of those founders are Midweek alums!

Midweek Podcasts February 24, 2021
The Midweek team came back from a week off with an array of new stories — enough for three more great podcasts! We hear about saving greenspace in Kanata, experiencing public school as an Indigenous person, and how the pandemic intersects with teaching, sculpting, reptiles and … donuts. All this and much more!

Midweek Podcasts February 10, 2021
The latest three podcasts take us to an Ottawa restaurant working hard to survive in the pandemic, and to a new Indigenous business that’s finding opportunity amid the same crisis. We hear from others just struggling to make it through these times — and we’ll explore matters of the heart…the beating kind and the kind that yearns. All that and more!
