Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls has long been a topic often pushed aside and neglected by those in authority. In June, a final report based on an inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls was released and revealed 225 cases remain unsolved. Families and friends of victims are still waiting for change to happen and action to be taken, to ensure the safety of Indigenous women.
