After graduating from Carleton University’s Industrial Design program in 2014, Heather Jeffrey found herself amongst the many recent graduates who just can’t seem to land a job in their field. Dismayed but not deterred, she decided to put her education to use by converting interesting garbage she found into wonderfully designed products. This passion transformed into Re4m; a full-fledged business which converts reclaimed materials into a wide variety of designs and products. Heather’s creativity has allowed her to build a successful business which touts sustainability and a green mindset as its main selling points.

Produced by Manuela Barcenas, Kat Topinka, Emily D’Orazio, and Jake Munro.
Special thanks to Heather Jeffrey from re4m.
