Twenty-five years after the genocide in Rwanda, one house in Ottawa has become a second home for two refugee women who left their former country. Because of how sensitive this issue is, The Twenty-Fifth Hour agreed not to disclose the location of the house or the names of the refugees for their safety. But we can still share their inspiring stories.

One house in Ottawa has become a second home for the refugee women who live there.

We can share the inspiring stories of two newcomers from Rwanda, but their names and the location of the home will remain anonymous for the protection of the refugees who fled their former countries.

The women bring different recipes, lifestyles and experiences to the table as they grow new roots in Canada.
