With ease of access, basketball is becoming a more diverse sport in Ottawa. A report from 2015 found that it was the sport that is surging the most among new Canadians. The multicultural background of the fans for the Toronto Raptors recent championship backs up that notion. In Ottawa, 25thHour looks at the city’s basketball scene. We look to show how inclusive it can be, and how it is growing in popularity.
