André is from Ottawa, where she worked in civil engineering for six year before transitioning to the Masters of Journalism program at Carleton University. She's a contributor to the Canadian Science Publishing blog and worked at the Science Media Centre of Canada.

Caroline Mercer is a Master of Journalism student with an undergrad in psychology and philosophy. She loves writing about science, health and technology. She's been featured in the Canadian Medical Association Journal, The Logic and Yale Medicine Magazine.

Matthew grew up in Ottawa, spending over a decade as a copywriter before deciding it was time for a change. He completed a second undergraduate degree at Carleton before applying for Carleton's graduate journalism program. Lover of dogs and bees.

A Haligonian for the last five years, David was born and raised in Ottawa. A Dalhousie grad and current Carleton journalism student, lover of music, sports and puns. If a genie gave him a wish, it would be a mandatory Oxford comma.

Erica grew up in Ottawa, where she attended the University of Ottawa, where she was a contributor to The Fulcrum newspaper. She's currently taking a Master’s degree in journalism at Carleton University.

A native Montrealer, Matthew graduated from Concordia, where he wrote for the Concordian and Screen Rant. He is currently at Carleton University in the Master of Journalism program. He's interested in citizen journalism and its influences on the media landscape.

Alexandre is a native of France who grew up in Montréal. He studied at Collège Jean de Brébeuf and uOttawa before joining the grad journalism program at Carleton. Alexandre worked translating, transcribing and editing technical manuscripts and likes reading, watching movies and playing with his dog.

Niranjalli completed a Masters in Mass Communication and Journalism in her native India, where she worked as a journalist and an Assistant Professor of Mass Media. She's an avid reader and cinephile who loves to travel.

Born and raised in Thornhill, Ontario, Ben finished an undergrad at Western University and spent a year living out of cars and surfing up Australia’s coast. Now a Master of Journalism student at Carleton, Ben's excited to surf the slush on Ottawa’s winter streets. Adventurer. Poet. Musician.
